ICAM Briefing for Decision Makers

This workshop is designed for those who may be involved in decision making in accordance with the 'Fair and Just Culture' in relation to performance management/disciplinary issued associated with incidents.

While ICAM investigations in themselves are never about finding blame or liability and the focus is on systemic issues, on occasion there are incidents where performance management is required.

This workshop assists Decision Makers in understanding that decisions need to be made based on the intentions behind the actions (not just the consequences of the event) and that the conditions and organisational factors that were present at the time must be considered to ensure any decisions in relation to performance management are fair and just.
